In the last few weeks we have been working on the specification for stage 1 of the Sunseeker Superyacht Management Virtual Yacht Management project.

As part of our continuing inroads into the luxury yacht business we are pleased to announce the go-live of Moliver Yacht Charters

Implemented as a Drupal 6 + CCK + Views + jQuery site, Patchrobe was responsible for the delivery of graphic design and implementation. The logo was based on the turk's head knot, emphasising a nautical tradition while evoking heraldic themes and traditional values.

We're delighted to announce the go-live of the website http://www.asha-charters.com

Designed to showcase the capabilities of the luxury motor yacht Asha, this site was commissioned and delivered in under a week in order to meet the exacting standards of our clients. We're particularly pleased with the logo design based on the rendering of the name Asha (meaning success in Sanskrit) into a contemporary Hindi font and the marketing copy built around this central theme.

It's some work of which Patchrobe is rightly proud. Every single component of the job, from the business analysis, hardware specification and building the web and mail servers to the custom CMS module development and graphic design - absolutely everything was produced in-house.

As we draw to the end of the year, it's time to put together the Dick's Sand Bar DVD compilation. Used as marketing tools for the beach side bar in Hossegor, south-west France, these videos document the show and party-carnage of the year. Included here below are three of my favourites - the DC All in Show (where crowds gather to watch maniacs hurl motorcycles through the air) and the Halloween and Superhero fancy dress parties.

The Sunseeker Crew jobs database has just passed UAT and will be productionised in the coming days. There have been some interesting technical challenges covering Drupal CCK field module development, module development generally (in particular what can be done with hook_nodeapi and similar functions) and some rather unusual approaches to making sure the site is ready for future up-grades; these have been sufficiently generic in their application to be of possible use for others so I will try to write this up in due course Having been described independently by both the developer and the

The annual wrestle with the vagaries of HTML emails has yielded the latest delivery of Sunseeker Superyacht Management Christmas cards. Delivered with PHPList, this card was tested against all of the major mail clients and consisted of an inline-styled table (RGB and hex values for all colours), a background on a TD element (as this is rendered inconsistently for TABLE tags) and transparent pngs. One day all mail clients will render HTML emails correctly and the same way, but we won't be holding our breath... Merry Christmas everybody!

We've just received the flyers and business cards for Racepiste (Grand Stade) back from the printers. Based on original designs by Laurie Barker of Flipmedia, these have been updated or newly created for the 2010/2011 winter season.
