As we draw to the end of the year, it's time to put together the Dick's Sand Bar DVD compilation. Used as marketing tools for the beach side bar in Hossegor, south-west France, these videos document the show and party-carnage of the year. The Sunseeker Crew jobs database has just passed UAT and will be productionised in the coming days. There have been some interesting technical challenges covering Drupal CCK field module development, module development generally (in particular what can be done with hook_nodeapi and similar functions) and some rather unusual approaches to making sure the site is ready for future up-grades; these have been sufficiently generic in their application to be of possible use for others so I will try...

The annual wrestle with the vagaries of HTML emails has yielded the latest delivery of Sunseeker Superyacht Management Christmas cards. Delivered with PHPList, this card was tested against all of the major mail clients and consisted of an inline-styled table (RGB and hex values for all colours), a background on a TD element (as this is rendered inconsistently for TABLE tags) and transparent pngs.
