In the last few weeks we have been working on the specification for stage 1 of the Sunseeker Superyacht Management Virtual Yacht Management project.

Initially this project is going to have a relatively limited scope - to provide access to and workflow functionality based around regulatory documentation for the superyacht industry. Fine-grained permissioning and security is, of course, high on the agenda. Once we've reviewed the impact of delivery of this first pilot stage we will look at delivering a series of modules to provide functionality that will expose the entire life-cycle of the superyacht management process to yacht owners and brokers.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver badly needed functionality to a high-end market and we're delighted to be moving on from the abstracts to a concrete implementation - we're stepping away from the whiteboard and firing up our IDEs (or vim and git as the fancy takes us).
