The Photographer
Stephen Dean from NaturalWorldPhotographer.com originally provided us with a very blank canvas. He already had a domain and a large number of high quality images that he wished to get online. He also had Paypal buttons within his site that allowed visitors to place orders for images in different sizes. We had to provide the rest.
We provided a set of three different designs for the site and also provided a logo and device for the business.
On the technology front we took the device we had created and used a system (specifically CCK, Imagefield, Imagecache and Imagecache actions with some minor template work) to create a website which allowed Stephen to create galleries, sort and arrange pictures in them and have them automatically watermarked and resized to the correct dimensions.
Also, Stephen had the option to add pricing plans to each of his images which automatically created Paypal Buy Now buttons, permitting users to click through and purchase his work, but with absolutely minimal integration costs to him.
This project has been a great fusion, with engineering permitting Stephen to present his outstanding portfolio to the world. We think the best web sites are a seamless combination of technology and art, and we're proud to be associated with this one.
